Diary
Pavlína Lörinczová

.pdf

If the word “diary” is uttered, the phrase “verbal record” will likely come to our mind. And a picture diary of a painter would probably evoke the idea of drawings in a sketchbook. For Pavlína Lörinczová, however, the canvas is important. It permeates all her work even as a theme (she used to render the décor of utility textiles in her paintings). The present small canvases portray inconspicuous scenes from the author’s daily life. Yet in general, in the diary records, there is something more important that draws our attention to them.
