A Satisfied Observer

The Satisfied Observer exhibition will introduce a cooperation of the painters Iva Simona and Hana Sommerová and the theoretician Veronika Molíková. Together, they are three observers mapping the gallery space itself, changing its reception cues and bringing in their own observed views. The exhibition concentrates on the motif of a window, or, more precisely, that moment when we look past an object, through the opening, further to the what’s beyond. This tension ripples out in several dialogues between painting, photography, visual changes in the room and the poetic text winding across the floor.
